Preci-Health Announces Strategic Investment and U.S. Clinical Partnership with Intermountain Health
August 18th 2025 | Neuchâtel, Switzerland
Preci-Health, developer of a breakthrough needle-free blood collection device, is proud to announce a strategic investment and clinical collaboration with Intermountain Health, a nonprofit healthcare system based in Utah, USA.
Intermountain Health, which operates 385 clinics and 33 hospitals across the Intermountain West, joins Preci-Health not only as an investor but as a key U.S. supporter as Preci-Health seeks clinical validation.
“We are honored to welcome Intermountain Health as both an investor and collaborator,” said Paul Kirschgraber MD, MBA, Chairman of the Board at Preci-Health: “Their deep clinical expertise, commitment to innovation, and strong reputation within the U.S. healthcare systems make them the ideal ally as we prepare to launch in 2026.”
The collaboration will accelerate the development and validation of ezdrawTM, a user-friendly device enabling blood sample collection without needles. It’s designed for use in hospitals, clinics, labs, pharmacies, and even at home. The device aims to simplify the way patients experience blood collection with two tubes in one draw, solving key challenges in phlebotomy — from patient discomfort to improving caregiver workload.
Intermountain Health will support Preci-Health through the FDA approval process including Institutional Review Board approved studies. These studies will include participants in northern and central Utah. Intermountain will also support Preci-Health to evaluate the integration of ezdrawTM in various capacities including, but not limited to clinic-based preventive health, and home-based remote diagnostics and chronic disease monitoring.
“We’re excited to support this transformative technology that has the potential to significantly impact global healthcare, by improving access, providing a better patient experience, and streamlining care delivery,” said Karen Brownell, VP, Laboratory Services, Intermountain Health.
This investment follows prior validations and collaborations with global leaders in space, a top-10 pharmaceutical company, and two of Europe’s leading diagnostic laboratories.
